Automotive Financing Tips for People with Bad Credit

Getting a Car Loan Approved with Bad Credit

A credit score is an important factor considered by Auto Credit Financial loan evaluators when processing loan applications. It basically determines how you handle debt and how capable you are of paying them off. Having a bad credit while applying for a loan can become problematic. Likewise, auto loan with bad credit, much like any other loan application will be utterly difficult.

Auto Credit Financial notes how easy it is to have bad credit scores. This is the reason why a lot of companies already offer assistance to people who are dealing with credit issues.. Given this, is it really possible for a person to loan for a car having bad credit? The answer is yes.

Auto Credit Financial says that despite the notion that says people with bad credit histories are less likely to be approved for a car loan, a lot of lenders are actually giving these people a chance. During the lowest times of the recession, due to people’s growing inability to pay off loans, car industry numbers dropped.

According to a recent expert findings from Auto Credit Financial, “more buyers with poor scores are getting approved, and adding their lower scores to the mix has brought average scores down almost to pre-recession levels”, which simply means: bad credit car loan being possible. This is a good thing, considering it is coming from the lender and the car industry’s initiatives.

The Detroit News supported this claim, when it observed that there were 1.9 million cards currently being issued to borrowers with bad credit histories. Apparently, lenders in the automobile industry are giving borrowers a chance.

Still, if it is to be seen from a personal-financial management perspective, it will be important to address the main cause, which is poor financial or debt management. Instead of grabbing this tempting opportunity, it may be more helpful to focus on improving your credit score by improving your finance management skills.

Before applying for a loan, you may want to pay off that skyrocketing debt little by little until your score improves. Through this, you would not incur more debts from lenient lenders, but lessen your obligations before being able to acquire that dream car. Thus, getting a car loan despite bad credit score is possible. However, it will have to take hard work still.

Anatomy of a Credit Score

The Car Loan Process..

Your credit score, also known as a FICO® score, is a number that reflects your credit worthiness at a given point in time. It is the key to your financial life and is used by mortgage lenders, car loan lenders, credit card companies, landlords, cell-phone companies, and even prospective employers to size whether you are a good or bad credit risk.

Credit Report2

Your credit score (FIG) determines the type of auto loan rates you qualify for at any bank, merging credit or financial institution. We offer tips, tools, strategies and solutions for resources to later improve your credit score (FICO) before purchasing the car. We offer user-friendly tools to improve credit, both for the do-it-yourself and those seeking a stress-free experience rebuilding credit.

Whether you are a Prime, sub prime, or high-risk borrower, knowing your score (FICO) will help you negotiate the best interest rate on the loan. Each level of the borrower (first, sub-prime and high risk) has a range of interest he or she is qualified for based on their credit. To know what the interest rates you qualify for all will help you approach a dealer with confidence, because you will have realistic expectations on your current financial situation.

FICO or Fair Isaac Co. in San Rafael, California was founded in 1956 by Bill Fair and Earl Isaac. These two gentlemen were pioneers in the field of credit scoring for financial companies. The company has developed system software that the credit agency and most lenders use to calculate your credit score, also known as FICO.  FICO uses a three-digit rating that helps determine the risks lenders would take to loan money.

The FICO scoring system uses 5 pieces of information: payment history (35%), the amounts due (30%), length of credit history (15%), the new credit (10%) and types of credit. It uses this data to generate a three-digit scores (300-950). Scores of 750 or higher are considered excellent and qualify for the minimum (best) interest. Scores below 619 are considered poor and qualify for the highest (worse) interest rate that can prevent you from qualifying for any type of loan. Auto Credit Financial offers solutions to customers, the scores of trying to establish credit, rebuild or improve.
